Overview
MakerStats is a statistics tracking app for MakerWorld creators. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy describes what the app does, what it stores, and what it doesn't.
Data we collect
Local only All data is stored locally on your device.
- →Usernames you track — stored locally on your device.
- →Statistics data — downloaded from MakerWorld and stored locally.
- →Points data — if you log in, your points are fetched and stored locally.
- →App preferences — settings like refresh intervals stored locally.
What we don't collect:
- ✕No personal information
- ✕No analytics or tracking
- ✕No data sent to our servers (we don't have any)
- ✕No advertising identifiers
- ✕No location data
Data storage
All data is stored locally on your device using platform-specific secure storage — SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS. We do not operate any servers or cloud storage.
Third-party services
MakerStats connects to:
- →MakerWorld (makerworld.com) — to fetch public profile statistics and points data.
We do not share any data with third parties.
MakerWorld login
If you choose to log in for points tracking:
- →Your login session is handled directly by MakerWorld.
- →Cookies are stored locally on your device.
- →We cannot see your MakerWorld password.
Children's privacy
MakerStats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data deletion
To delete all data:
- →Open Settings in MakerStats.
- →Tap “Clear All Data”.
Or simply uninstall the app.
Changes
We may update this policy. Check this page for the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the app's changelog.
